All adventures begin with the unknown, the unexplored, and the unexpected. But they also begin with searching, researching, and plenty of sidetracking. That’s where I come in. I meticulously scour areas for offbeat excursions so you don’t have to, curating unique experiences by highlighting the distinctive features of a region. From start to finish, I’m with you every step of the way. Your private guided backpacking trip in the Colorado Rockies begins with a hand-picked itinerary with logistics tailored specifically for the needs, preferences, and skill levels of you and your crew, ensuring a perfect fit. Before embarking, I'll send you a general itinerary and pack list and will assist you in sourcing and renting any equipment or gear you may need. At the trailhead, we'll review the itinerary, safety guidelines, and what to expect on the trail. On the trail, I'll work with you and your group directly, guiding you with tips, tricks, and precautions to ensure a safe and successful trip. I'm committed to responsible and sustainable adventure tourism. As a Leave No Trace Level 1 Trainer, I'm passionate about educating participants on LNT principles and promoting responsible environmental practices. Lastly, your safety is my top priority. For each trip, I develop a well-defined emergency action plan, tailored to our group and route, including a detailed itinerary, waypoints, trailheads, and local emergency response contact information. By the end of our excursion, you'll be ready to take on new trails with confidence and a broadened skill set, helping you to bring the next far out peak within reach. What's Included: - Trip itinerary, maps, and pack list - Permits, emergency plan - Professional instruction and guiding on LNT principles; the area's history, ecology and geology; and insights to local attractions and areas of interest - Group first aid kit, firestarter, and GPS communicator - Group hand sanitizer, trowel, and toilet paper - Group camp stove, cookset, and fuel - Group water, water filter, and biodegradable soap What's Not Included: - Backpacking gear/equipment not listed above - Transportation Please be mindful to select the total number of days in your trip when checking out based on your group size. An overnight trip equates to 2 days total.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy The following time frames govern HG Adventure Co’s obligation to refund any payments made by guests: Sixty or more days prior to departure: deposit and all other payments refunded. Between 30-59 days prior to departure: deposit not refunded; all other payments refunded. Less than 30 days prior to departure: full payment not refunded; Balance of payments refunded only if HG Adventure Co is able to re-sell your booking to another client. If you cancel your booking less than 30-days prior to departure, HG Adventure Co will make every reasonable effort to re-sell your booking. However, HG Adventure Co is under no obligation to take any extraordinary measures to try to fill your spot on the trip.
